Wicked wikis...

I've fallen behind again...tried to set up a wiki but got lost in moving from my wiki to the help pages to the templates...lots of ways in which we could use them in the library...information desk FAQs...subject guides, very handy as everyone could add in new resources...easier to update than a web page...for info skills group training and support...but maybe we need to investigate the wiki tool in Sulis...and try to integrate with existing modules, courses and tools...

...lots of fun things that could be used if you had a specific purpose...smacks a bit of 'here's a great tool that works' but you don't really need it...I liked the food sites especially Look and Taste...

LibraryThing...why?

...have fallen way behind, I don't know what week this is...several attempts to sign in to LibraryThing, yet another username and password...curious to see the numbers of people with titles in common but what is the point...prefer to spend time reading the books rather than cataloguing them...

...I'm going to take the direct route to upload a photo, hope this works...that was quick, done in seconds...

More choices

...wasted time downloading and trying to install Picasa on the Mac...didn't work, gave up and went back to Flickr...managed to upload three photos but can I get one into my blog? Why does it take so long to upload one image...that's taking forever...I'll try to 'blog' the photo from Flickr....oh no...more configuring...I give up for now.

Too many options...

...well now the time looks right on my blog but there are so many options for the settings I could be here all night...didn't need to set up a reader as I already have an account on Google Reader...but, for a very few feeds I have more than 100 messages to read...or delete more likely...do I need this information overload?!

Slight progress...

..discovered how to change fonts and customise and add gadgets...could spend a lot of time messing! I wonder can I delete this blog and start again???
